Fuhu, DreamWorks and Intel to Launch Kids' Tablet in June

Posted on January 19, 2014

Fuhu, DreamWorks and Intel have partnered to develop a tablet for kids called DreamTab. The Android-powered tablet will run on Intel's new 64-bit enabled Intel Atom Z3740 processor. The companies are promising "lightning-fast performance, powerful graphics capabilities, long battery life, and rich, immersive educational and entertainment experiences."

Fuhu's OS overlay called Blue Morpho will enable kids to interact with DreamWorks characters. One of the education multiplayer online games, School of Dragons, involves characters from the How To Train Your Dragon franchise. The tablet will also feature parental controls and a curated app zone.

DreamTab is a great name for a kids' tablet. The new tablets will be available starting in June. Pricing has not yet been announced. Take a look:
