Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood in Haiti for Habitat for Humanity

Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood joined Habitat for Humanity last month to help build homes in Haiti. The country stars were among 600 volunteers building 100 homes in the Santo community as part of Habitat for Humanity's 29th annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.

The 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti in January 2010 destroyed over 100,000 homes and killed over 316,000 people. You can find out more about the earthquake here.
