Glee's Matthew Morrison just landed a record deal. Matthew, who plays teacher Will Schuester on the hit show, signed with Mercury records and his album will be released in the fall. People reports:
Morrison's rising star is burning even brighter since his nomination for a Golden Globe for his role as Will.

Before Glee, Morrison, 31, showed off his acting and singing chops in the Broadway musicals Hairspray, The Light in the Piazza, for which he was nominated for a Tony, and the revival of South Pacific at the Lincoln Center Theater in New York.
Matthew is a fabulous performer: we can't wait to hear his new album. Season two of Glee will also return in the fall. New episodes return on April 13, 2010 on Fox at 9:00 Eastern time.
