Google Reveals Year in Search for 2016

2016 was a busy, long and disliked year. There were many things that happened in 2016 and some of them were bad. 2016 included the unusual U.S. presidential election and the deaths of many celebrities including Prince, David Bowie, Carrie Fisher and George Michaels.

Google's 2016 Year in Search reveals the top overall searches as well as top searches in news, people, tech, sports, movies, music and more. The top searches included Pokemon Go, iPhone 7, Donald Trump, Prince, Powerball, David Bowie, Deadpool, Olympics and Suicide Squad.
