Hasbro and Gramercy Announce Nerf Dog Toys

Posted on July 19, 2013

Hasbro and Gramercy have partnered for a line of Nerf dog toys. The toys are expected to arrive in stores in August 2013. The Nerf Dog range will include rubber, plastic, Nylon and Thermo Plastic Rubber toys at price points ranging from $5 to $15.

Hasbro says the Nylon construction and stitching is three times stronger than what is included on standard dog toys. An extendable tennis ball thrower is pictured above. A 3-Ring Tug Toy and Rubber encased crunch ball are pictured below.

Simon Waters, Senior Vice President, Global Brand Licensing & Publishing at Hasbro, said in a statement, "Nerf Dog is a great example of Hasbro's strategic approach to marrying the sports action category with key brands like Nerf. The new Nerf Dog line will perfectly translate the DNA of the Nerf brand into a fresh breakout line that encapsulates the inner drive shared both by dogs and their owners to engage in over-the-top active play. It promises to be quite fun for all."
