Hermes recently introduced its Carre Couture collection of luxury silk scarves. The eight piece collection includes this fabulous Pegasus scarf. The scarf, named Pegase de Nacre, was designed by Christian Renonciat.

The depiction of a mechanical construction of the Hermes horse on the scarf is a tribute to Leonard Da Vinci. Harper's Bazaar says the scarf was made using 15 Tahitian pearls, 6225 fresh water pearls, sequins and silk thread.

Prices for the scarves in the Carre Couture collection range from $25,000 to $70,000.
