Intel will be launching its new Skull Canyon NUC mini PC in May 2016. The cover of the black PC has a skull on it. The mini PC is targeted at users who need a powerful computer, such as gamers.

The Skull Canyon NUC contains the Intel Core i7 processor and Intel Iris Pro Graphics which has 4K display capabilities. It is designed for Windows 10. It has support for up to 32 GB of RAM. It has 4 USB 3.0 ports including a USB charing port. It also has built-in Bluetooth 4.2.

The NUC also has an HDMI 2.0 port, Mini DisplayPort, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3. Engadget calls the Iris Pro graphics 580 "limiting" but notes you could add a card by attaching a Razer Core expansion box.

Intel will release the Skull Canyon NUC in May with a base price of $650. There is no monitor sold with the slim PC so you will need to factor that into your cost. Intel has a site about its new PC here.
