Japan Pop-star Created With Computer-Generated Images

Japan used computer-generated images to the "perfect" pop star. Pop singer Aimi Eguchi is a member of Japan's girl group, AKB 48, but she is not real. She was built using photographs of the other six members of the band. The CGI singer fooled fans of the band for about a week before details were released. The fans still love Aimi even though they now know the truth about her. Japan also has a holographic star, Hatsune Miku . She is headed to the U.S. this summer. Take a look:
