Hitler Teapot

A teapot sold in JC Penney stores and featured on a billboard in Southern California has been dubbed the "Hitler Teapot" by social media. JC Penney has said that any resemblance between its teapot and the former Nazi leader was unintentional. When looked at closely the teapot has Hitler's hairline and mustache.

Forbes reports that JC Penney pulled the billboard and possibly stopped selling the product. The Daily Beast reports that the $40 teapot quickly sold out and that it is now selling on eBay for $199. There are many listings for the teapot on eBay, but most bids are under $199.

The actual name of the teapot is the Michael Graves Design Bells and Whistles Stainless Steel Tea Kettle. The jcpenney.com listing says it is backordered and will ship on June 26, 2013.
