Jennifer Lawrences SNL Opening Monologue


Jennifer Lawrence hosted Saturday Night Live last night. In her monologue she explained that she didn't actually diss Meryl Streep in her Golden Globes acceptance speech. When she exclaimed "What does it say? I beat Meryl!" she was referencing a funny line spoken by Bette Middler in The First Wives Club. She said she would never diss her Golden Globe competition. As for her Oscar competition, that is different story. She them proceeded to gently roast her competition. She didn't say anything insulting and added a compliment at the end of each mini-roast. Will it still bother Oscar voters? Take a look:
