Jennifer Lawrence Stars in Dior Addict Lacquer Stick Campaign

Posted on March 14, 2017

Jennifer Lawrence is the face of the new Dior Addict Lacquer Stick. The $35 stick comes in color trends inspired by symbolic L.A. hot spots. Jennifer is Dior's cool L.A. girl for the campaign which was shot in a retro diner by photographer David Sims.

Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, says, "Jennifer is perfectly in tune with the millennial woman. She represents a strength, an audacity, a femininity. She represents this next generation of lipsticks."

Dior says its new lacquer has a base almost twice as sheer as a classic lipstick. There are 18 colors that fit into four categories: pastel, neon, classic and wild. Some of the names of the lacquer sticks include Black Coffee, Turn Me Dior, K-Kiss, LA Pink, Diablo and Tease.

In a campaign interview, Jennifer says, "When I first got to L.A., my impression was very different than what I imagined. If L.A. was a color, I think it would be pink, very glamorous." She also describes locking herself in her grandma's room and trying on lipstick for a first time as a kid.
