In 1952 Revlon introduced its iconic Fire & Ice lipstick and nail polish. Model Dorian Leigh starred in the original campaign which was shot by Richard Avedon. The New York Times' T Magazine says that the original slogan for the campaign were "Are you made for Fire & Ice?" That sounds fine, but apparently there was also an accompanying questionnaire that asked customers kooky questions such as, "Have you ever wanted to wear an ankle bracelet?" and "Does gypsy music make you sad?"

For Revlon's re-imagining of the Fire and Ice line, it signed Jessica Biel and photographer Mario Testino to re-create the ad. Alas, there appears to be no updated questionnaire under Jessica's photo. The company has now released new lip and nail pairings, with "Revlon" written in a retro font. FYI: we don't wear ankle bracelets and gypsy music does not make us sad.
