Julianne Hough to Design Capsule Collection with MPG

Posted on January 22, 2016

Actress and dancer Julianne Hough has been named the brand ambassador for Mondetta Performance Gear (MPG). She will curate 12 styles for the brand's Spring/Summer collection. MPG Sport also has plans to launch a capsule collection designed by Julianne.

Julianne says in a statement, "MPG has established strong roots in the dance and performance community and I love the fact that their designs are fashionable and use the latest state-of-the-art fabrications. I gravitate towards pieces that are versatile enough to easily transition from active to ready-to-wear, so this brand is a perfect match for me."

Here's a behind-the-scenes video from Julianne's MPG campaign.

MPG says Julianne fits perfectly with its core philosophy of "My Performance, My Lifestyle." Julianne is a great choice to help showcase MPG's line which can be used for working out as well as day-to-day activities. The Canada based company has been manufacturing its activewear line since 2004 before many recently launched brands - something they pointed out to WWD. Mondetta CEO and cofounder Ash Modha told WWD, "We got into the dance world before many of these active brands did."

Julianne's 12 curated styles will be available on the MPG store in February. It will also be sold at HBC in Canada and Lord & Taylor in the US.
