Kids Becoming Major Identity Theft Target

Kids are the new targets of identity theft. Criminals steal social security numbers of children and use them for years before the kids or their parents figure it out. By the time the kids are 18 they may already have poor credit because of the identity thieves. ABC News reports that one in ten children are already victims of identity theft. Hacking of home computers and stolen records from schools and hospitals are the primary sources of information for identity thieves. The hacking of personal computers for information about children does not bode well for Facebook's plans to offer access to kid under age 13. This is really awful. Take a look:
