Kobo Unveils New Family of Ebook Readers

Kobo Reader Family 2012

Kobo has announced a new family of ereaders and tablets. They include the Kobo Glo, Kobo Mini, Kobo Touch and the Kobo Arc.

The Kobo Glo features a 6-inch E Ink screen and adjustable ComfortLight technology. It is available in black, white, pink, blue and silver for $129.99 starting October 1st.

The Kobo Mini is a 5-inch E Ink reader. It is available in black or white and offers a selection of three Kobo SnapBacks in teal, ruby red and purple. The device is also available starting October 1st for $79.99.

The Kobo Touch is a touchscreen ereader that retails for $99.99. It is available in seven different languages.

The Kobo Arc is a new Android 4.0 tablet with a 7-inch display. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera, built-in microphone and speakers with SRS TruMedia. It is available in black and white with interchangeable blue and purple SnapBacks. The Kobo Arc will cost $199.99 for a 8 GB device and $249.99 for a 16 GB. It will be available starting in November.

Kobo readers can be found at Bestbuy.com in the U.S. and Indigo, Future Ship and Best Buy in Cananda.
