Kylie Jenner's Popular Lip Kits Business Receives Better Business Bureau Complaints

Posted on July 6, 2016

Kylie Jenner has one of the most successful celebrity products with her popular lip kits. Kylie Lip Kits have been continually selling out. Her growing business, Kylie Cosmetics, has also received over 130 complaints through the Better Business Bureau.

People Stylewatch reports that there have been 133 complaints filed with BBB in the past year. Many of the complaints had to do with the product not being delivered. This turned out to be a unique problem with the packaging. The Kylie Cosmetics packaging was highly recognizable resulting in packages of Kylie Lip Kits being stolen.

ET Online reports that Kylie Cosmetics' BBB rating improved from an F to a C when the bureau was made aware of just how big its volume was. However, the BBB says on the listing for Kylie Cosmetics that the "as of June 23, 2016 the pattern of complaint allegations continues." The company currently has no rating. The BBB says this is because it "has been in business less than one year and does not have a sufficient track record for BBB to rate it."

The packaging problem can be fixed by placing the alluring Kylie Cosmetics packaging inside less exciting plain packaging. Kylie Cosmetics will have to work through its other distribution issues and complaints or find a distribution partner if it continues to grow. At least Kylie Cosmetics does not have to worry about its products being popular with consumers. Many of the Lip Kits continue to sell out. Update: Kylie has released a statement regarding the BBB rating and complaints.

Entertainment Tonight says she's slamming the haters and is "sick and tired" of people coming for her business.
