Lady Gaga and the Missing Rigby and Peller Underwear

Posted on May 7, 2010

High-end lingerie label Rigby and Peller loaned seven sets of handmade underwear to Lady Gaga for use in a music video. The undewear Rigby and Peller sent to Lady Gaga were unique prototypes from its fall collection. Rigby and Peller only received three sets of its underwear back. The other four pairs were apparently lost in transit or never sent. The couriers reported the missing four pairs as Awol. In a statement, Rigby and Peller stressed how disappointed they are that they did not get the underwear back in time for a press show.
A spokeswoman for the lingerie company said: "Obviously we were delighted that Lady Gaga wanted to use our new pieces in her next video but we did stress we needed them back in plenty of time for our press show. They are all handmade and unique designs that are simply priceless and are not available anywhere in the world, so we are really disappointed not to get them back in time for our major showcase of the year.

"The last we heard, the underwear was still 'Awol' and we are not sure when we will see them again. If we don't get them back then it could hold up the whole production of our autumn/winter 2010 collection as they are the prototypes."
We hope the lost underwear turns up. ITN says Lady Gaga's team is not commenting on the missing underwear. Take a look:
