Lady Gaga Cancels Tour Due to Extreme Joint Pain

Posted on February 12, 2013

Lady Gaga has cancelled her tour due to extreme joint pain. She says the pain was so bad after her show last night that she cannot even walk. In a posting to her Facebook page, Gaga writes,

"I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now, [and] over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff. I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However, after last night's performance I could not walk and still can't. I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself." The singer is obviously quite depressed over disappointing her fans writing on Twitter, "I'm devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible. I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry."

On Twitter Gaga further explains she has synovitis, which is severe inflammation of the joints. The inflammation caused her to postpone four concerts. The cities with postponed shows are Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, Ontario. Gaga has said she tested borderline for lupus and has a relative that suffers from that disease. We hope this isn't a symptom of a much more serious problem and that she gets better soon.
