Lady Gaga gave an amazing and heartfelt performance of "Til It Happens to You" from The Hunting Ground at the 88th Academy Awards. Gaga and Diane Warren were nominated for Best Original Song, but lost out to Sam Smith for "Writing's On the Wall" from Spectre. Gaga was joined on stage by actual survivors of sexual abuse and rape, many of whom were featured in the documentary film.

Gaga looked gorgeous in a custom pants ensemble by Brandon Maxwell. Yes, she wore pants to the Oscars and she looked fabulous. Gaga accessorized with 90 carats of diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. Gaga was accompanied by her fiance Taylor Kinney.

After the Oscars, Gaga changed into another fabulous white pants ensemble by Brandon Maxwell. We really love this one. The halter top is very structured and flares into a slight peplum. the train the back was used by Gaga to great effect in the Vanity Fair photo booth. She wrote of the photo, "After my performance last night I felt a weight lifted. Like I didn't have to hide anymore. looks like my outfit and this photo felt what I was feeling."
