Lord & Taylor Surveillance Camera May Have Captured Boston Marathon Bomber

Posted on April 17, 2013

The Boston Globe is reporting that a Lord & Taylor surveillance camera may have captured an image of the person who placed the bomb at the second bombing scene. The Boston Globe has been covering the horrific incident non-stop since it happened on April 15, 2013. An official told the Globe they are "very close" in the investigation.

Lord & Taylor has a camera directly across the street from the second bombing site, which is located on Boylston Street, outside of the Forum restaurant. If the camera does have an image of someone placing a bag containing a bomb it could lead to the identification of the person responsible. The Globe says authorities may provide an update later this afternoon about what they have found.

CNN also reports that police have identified a suspect using video from the Lord & Taylor and video from a Boston TV station.
