Lupita walked the red carpet at 2014 CFDA Awards. She is pictured above with her stylist, Micaela Erlanger. Lupita wore a colorful outfit by Suno on the red carpet. She told Vanity Fair that Suno is a designer that supported her before her 12 Years a Slave breakout. Lupita talked with Extra about getting cast in Star Wars on the red carpet.

Lupita says the news she is in the next Star Wars film was not true when the rumor first surfaced. She appears to have only landed the role within the past couple weeks. Lupita is tight lipped about the character she plays. We don't even know if she will play a good or bad character. She told AJ Calloway, "You know plenty already." Calloway tried to coax some details out of her by saying he was trying to imagine her character's wardrobe. Lupita did not slip up. She teased that her costume will be "something fabulous..."
