Man Tries to Spend Fake $1 Million Bill at Walmart

A man tried to use a fake $1 million bill at a Walmart in Lexington, N.C. The Winston-Salem Journal reports that the man tried to check out with several items, including a vacuum and microwave, with the bill he claimed was legitimate. His total was $476. If the Walmart had accepted the fake currency, the man's change would have been $999,524.

The store called the police and the man was arrested. UPI reports that the largest U.S. bill currently in circulation is a $100 bill.
