Actress Michael Michele Joins Gossip Girl

Actress Michael Michele has joined Gossip Girl. The show is now in its 5th season on The CW despite continued low ratings.

Michael plays a movie producer on the show. She is the boss of Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively). Michael describes Blake as sweet, unassuming and pleasant. She says clothes have not been as much of a factor in her previous roles an actress, but she says, "that's a part of the Gossip Girl mystique." Take a look:
