Michaels Partners With Creativebug for Online Arts and Crafts Classes

Posted on March 6, 2015

Michaels has partnered with Creativebug for online arts and crafts classes. Michaels says there are classes for both beginners and enthusiast crafters with more advanced skills.

Michaels Vice President of Marketing Steve Carlotti says in a statement, "Creativebug offers Michaels customers classes that capture the spirit of in-person teaching, so they feel like they are learning alongside their instructor, but at their own pace. The partnership with Creativebug provides a tremendous resource for our customers who are interested in making a project but are looking for step-by-step instruction and encouragement to make it a reality."

Some of the current classes cover paper wedding crafts, layer cakes, beret making, water colors, making paper flowers, art journaling and more. The available online classes can be found here on michaels.com. Take a look:

Creativebug was acquired by Otter Media in 2014 for $10 million.
