Moose Toys to Launch Interactive Pet Birds at 2014 Toy Fair

Interactive pets birds called Little Live Pets

Moose Toys has announced to launch Little Live Pets, a line of interactive pet birds at the 2014 American International Toy Fair, which opens on Feb. 16. The toys can respond to touch and fit in the owner's palm. They make more than 40 different sounds. They tweet, chirp and whistle nursery rhymes. They also have a chatter back recording feature.

Paul Solomon, co-CEO, Moose Toys, says in a statement, "Given the popularity of The Ugglys, the electronic pets we launched in the fall, we're confident that Little Live Pets will be a hit with kids when they hit shelves this fall. Our initial focus groups show that kids love the Birds' realistic qualities and the interactive talk back feature."

Moose says the new toys will range in price from $12.99 to $19.99.

Update 8-23-14: The toys are expected to hit Target, Toys R Us and Walmart stores this month. Here is a new video about the interactive birds. The birds chirp when petted and can repeat things you say. Take a look:
