Bentley Arnage Drophead CoupeInside Line reports on Edmunds that the The Bentley Arnage Drophead Coupe (pictured on right), which was popular at the L.A., auto show has gotten the green light. Inside Line describes the new convertible:
The Arnage Drophead Coupe, based on the 2005 Arnage sedan, is the successor to the hugely successful Bentley Azure convertible. It is powered by a 450-horsepower, 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The first of the four-seater convertibles will be ready for delivery in spring 2006.
Bentley chairman Dr Franz-Josef Paefgen described the car as "the most sensationally beautiful convertible."

Inside Line also says a Bentley SUV is on the way but they are not nearly as excited about this vehicle. Inside Line writes, "The end of civilization could be at hand. A Porsche SUV is one thing, but a Bentley off roader? We can only hope that VW reconsiders and puts its money toward more cars like Continental GT instead."
