New Samsung Smartphone Will Let Users Scroll Using Their Eyes

Samsung is set to unveil its new Galaxy S IV smartphone at a press conference in New York City on march 14th. The New York Times Bits blog reports that the new smartphone will include technology that tracks the eyes of the user and automatically scrolls when it recognizes that users have reached the bottom of the page.

The concept sounds similar to Tobii's gaze tracking technology. The Bits post says Samsung has filed for trademarks including Eye Scroll and Eye Pause.

Samsung has also released a teaser for its next Galaxy phone. The teaser does not reveal the eye scrolling tech or show any images of the new phone. Instead it stars Jeremy, a suit wearing boy, who Samsung says is the secret messenger of Samsung Unpacked 2013. Take a look:
