Hip hop star Nicki Minaj is the face of the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2015 campaign. The campaign was photographed by Francesco Carrozzini.

Nicki Minaj has a low-priced Kmart collection but she can also do high fashion. Nicki's 60s styled hairdo by Brent Lawler is perfect for the Cavalli campaign. She models several dresses in the campaign, including a zebra-print gown and colorful prints. Nicki also models chic glasses and sunglasses.

Cavalli said in a statement, "In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong countertrend message. I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves, rather she make them as a strength."

Nicki Minaj's most recent hit was her "Anaconda" single and music video in which she did certainly show off her curves. Her album, The Pinkprint, which contains "Anaconda" and her latest single, "Only," was released on December 12.

This is the second campaign in a row that Cavalli has select a pop star to model his collection. Singer Rita Ora was the face of the Roberto Cavalli Fall/Winter 2014 campaign. Cavalli also worked recently with Lady Gaga. He designed the custom tulle gown with ivory feathers she wore during a performance for her Cheek to Cheek tour with Tony Bennett.
