Nintendo will launch a red Wii mini console in the U.S. It will cost $99.99 and will be available starting November 17th. Nintendo says the tiny mini does not connect to the Internet, however it does play the entire library of over 1,300 Wii games. The console is sold with Mario Kart Wii and a red Wii Remote Plus controller. CNET reports that the mini first debuted in Canada last fall.

Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, said in a statement, "Wii mini offers the same fun experience as Wii, which has been enjoyed by millions of people around the world. And it comes packaged with Mario Kart Wii, a multiplayer Mario racing game that is one of the best-selling Wii games. At such a great price, it is an extraordinary value for shoppers this holiday season."
