Nintendo has announced it will launch its new Wii U gaming console on November 18th. The Wii U is an HD system with a new type of controller called a GamePad. The GamePad is unique because it offers an additional touchscreen for game play. The GamePad can also be used to play games without the console. The Wii U system is available in two versions: a Basic Set and a Deluxe Set.
The Basic Set contains a white Wii U console with 8GB of storage, a white GamePad controller, AC adapters, sensor bar and HDMI cable. It will retail for $299.99.
The Deluxe Set includes a black Wii U console with 32 GB of storage, a black GamePad controller, console stand, GamePad charging cradle and Nintendo Land game. It has a suggested retail price of $349.99.
Nintendo has announced that 23 games will be available when the system launches on Nov. 18. The games include the shoot-em-up Tank Tank Tank, Call of Duty: BLack Ops, Lego City and New Super Mario Bros. Another game is the unique sounding zombie game, ZombiU. You play a survivor in ZombiU and if you die you can never play that character again as he becomes one of the infected zombies in the game.
