Aibo: Sony's Robotic Puppy
Posted on August 18, 2020
Sony has a robotic puppy companion called Aibo. Sony revealed a "day in the life" video showing some of the things Aibo can do.
The latest ERS-1000 model (version 2.50) was released in late 2019. It has a Web-based application programming interface which enables owners to program aibo to perform different actions.
Aibo has its own website at us.aibo.com. Aibo retails for $2,899.99. It is expensive but aibo is far more impressive than most other toy robots. Aibo also has a bone, dice and paw pads that are sold separately.
In this video, Aibo works out with his owner, listens to music, take photographs, poses for photos and eats virtual food. Aibo also plays ball and throws his dice. Aibo can also pretend to be a cat and mouse.
