Chanel Boomerang

Chanel has pulled the Chanel Boomerang from its website. The boomerang was criticized last month after Chanel was accused of "appropriating Indigenous Australian culture." The link CNN has to the product listing in its report is no longer on Chanel.com. The Google link also no longer works.

Chanel did report that it "deeply regrets that some may have felt offended." If first came to the attention of social media users when Instagram user Jeffree Star posted a photograph of it and wrote, "Having so much fun with my new Chanel boomerang."

Chanel does sometimes make sports equipment. They made footballs and basketballs a few years ago, see here.
