HTC's New Squeezable HTC U11 Smartphone Arrives in June

Squeezable is a new way to describe a smartphone. HTC's new smartphone, the HTC U11, features squeezable sides that can perform functions, such as taking a photograph. HTC calls this feature "Edge Sense." This may be end up being faster for some functions then clicking on a button on the screen or voicing a command.

The HTC U11 smartphone has a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display made with Gorilla Glass 5. Specs include a 12MP main camera, 16MP front camera, 4GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and IP67 water protection. It has NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi (2.4 & 5 GHz) connectivity.

It is expected to be available sometime next month (June 2017). A release date of June 9 is listed on Amazon.com with pre-orders available for three colors: Amazing Silver, Brilliant Black and Sapphire Blue (pictured above). CNET reports in its preview that pre-orders from Sprint will include two Amazon Echo Dot speakers.
