Microsoft's new keyboard is called the Microsoft Modern Keyboard. The thin keyboard was designed to bring Windows Hello Fingerprint Authentication to any Windows 10 device. Microsoft says it wanted to blend the Fingerprint reader into the keyboard so it would look like another key.

The keyboard has an aluminum frame. It can be used as a wired or wireless interface. Microsoft says it optimized the Bluetooth pairing experience for automatic pairing when you connect the cable.

The keyboard is listed here on Microsoft. It will cost $129.99. The release date has not yet been announced. It follows the recent announcements of the Surface Arc Mouse and Surface Pen from Microsoft.
