Microsoft Surface Pro

Microsoft has unveiled its new Surface Pro laptop. This is technically the fifth Surface Pro. The previous model was the Surface Pro 4. The new model is available in several different configurations. It is not to be confused with the Surface Laptop Microsoft unveiled earlier this month.

The base configuration has 4GB RAM, 128 GB of storage and an Intel Core m3. Other configurations have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of hard drive space. The other models have either the Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processor.

The Surface Pro gets up to 13.5 hours of battery life per charge. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium, front-facing and rear-facing cameras with 1080p HD video. The screen is a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with a 267 PPI resolution. It is 10 point multi-touch. The Surface Pro ranges in price from $799 to $2,699. The Surface Pen, Surface Dial, Surface Keyboard and Surface Arc Mouse are sold separately. It is available for pre-order now and it is expected to ship in mid-June 2017.
