Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Edition Bundle Will Be Walmart Exclusive

Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch went on sale on July 21. Nintendo has announced a special bundle version of the Nintendo Switch for the game. It features neon pink and neon green Joy-Con controllers. The bundle, Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Edition Bundle, will be sold exclusively at Walmart.

Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says in the announcement, "Consumers in Japan and Europe have already had a strong response to Splatoon 2 bundles in their territories. This exclusive Walmart bundle gives people who have been waiting to buy a Nintendo Switch a great value and incentive to get splatting."

Nintendo says there have been over 400 million online Splatoon 2 battles online to date. The new bundle will cost $379.99 and arrive at Walmart on September 8. We expect there will be some other Nintendo Switch bundles released in time for the holiday shopping season.
