McDonald's Japan Launches Pikachu McFlurry

Posted on July 15, 2017

McDonald's Japan has launched a McFlurry dessert inspired by Pikachu. The dessert has Pikachu's brown and yellow colors. It is chocolate and banana flavored. Pikachu has a spoon in the marketing image so we assume Pikachu wants some dessert too.

The dessert cups also have Pikachu's face on them. You can see images of the cup designs here.

Nerdist reports that McDonald's asked people on Twitter to guess what Pokemon flavor it was going to offer before the Picakchu reveal. Some of the flavors were scary such as Bulbasaur Broccoli and Gengar Purple Potato. We don't think people would have been rushing to McDonald's for a Broccoli McFlurry but we could be wrong.
