Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Trader Joe's has launched a fascinating new product called Cauliflower Pizza Crust. Those familiar with the riced cauliflower product are already aware of how cauliflower can be made to seem like rice. The item was revealed by the @thetraderstable Instagram account. It has not yet appeared in the Fearless Flyer.

The Trader's Table writes, "Cauliflower Pizza Crust is here at Trader Joe's, grab a box or two before they sell out! We are going to cook up our favorite pizza recipes on theses crusts and will be sharing our best with you soon."

The Daily Meal reports that the entire 10.6-ounce crust has 460 calories. Because it is made with cauliflower and corn flour the carb count may be higher than some low-carb seekers were hoping. The Trader's Table revealed on Instagram: "To all: 1/6 of the crust has 17g carbs." The net carbs should be lower than this since cauliflower is a source of dietary fiber.

Update: It is 80 calories and 17 carbs per slice with 1 gram of dietary fiber with a slice representing 1/6 of the entire crust. It is a product of Italy. PopSugar has an image of the back of the box with the nutrition facts here.
