Cute Tsum Tsum Oyster for National Oyster Day

Tsum Tsum Oyster from Alice in Wonderland

Today is National Oyster Day. It is celebrated every year on August 5th. This year the holiday is reminding us of the cute little oysters in Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

The happy oysters appear during the performance of the song, "The Walrus and the Carpenter." The little baby oysters meat a sad end after following the tricky Walrus to their eventual doom. It is based on a poem from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass. The film clip can be found on YouTube.

Disney has a Tsum Tsum version of the baby oysters that perfectly captures their cuteness and innocence. According to the entry on Tsum Tsum Central the cute little oyster can only be found at the Disney Store in Japan where it has been exclusively available and continues to get restrocked. Unless you are planning an overseas trip your best bet in getting one will be eBay.
