Pink Sings We've Got Scurvy For SpongeBob SquarePants Album
Posted on June 25, 2009
SpongeBob SquarePants has a album coming out July 14th called SpongeBob's Greatest Hits. The album features 17 tracks of original music from the past 10 years of the hit animated series, as well as new hits like "We've Got Scurvy," an original song performed by Pink, and a remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song performed by Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley. Also included as a holiday bonus track is "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)," a new song, co-written by Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob, and Andy Paley.
Later this year, Pink will appear as herself in a live-action sequence that will air during a special episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. The special also will include Cee-Lo's interpretation of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song, set to an all-new opening sequence.
Pink shared the audio for "We've Got Scurvy" on her YouTube channel. With lyrics like "We got scurvy, we need a lemon tree" and "We've got scurvy we need a lemon tree" it is pretty hilarious.
