Rare Ferrari Sold at Auction for $27.5 Million

Ferrari GTB 4 NART Spider

A rare 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB 4 NART Spider fetched a record $27.5 million at an auction by RM Auctions. There are only ten of the cars in the world. It is a record sale for a Ferrari and the record amount for the sale of any car in the U.S. The car made an appearance in the 1968 film, The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Steve McQueen. McQueen purchased the car after the movie. Bloomberg reports that the car was purchased by Canadian fashion entrepreneur Lawrence Stroll. The money from the sale went to charity. Take a look:
