Reese Witherspoon Named Storyteller-in-Chief for Elizabeth Arden

Reese Witherspoon has cut a major deal with Elizabeth Arden. She will take on a role called Storyteller-in-Chief. Reese will hep shape the beauty brand's narrative through ad campaigns and marketing programs.

Reese is an entrepreneur as well as an actress. She has a production company, Hello Sunshine, and a lifestyle and fashion brand, Draper James. She also continues her acting career with roles in Sing, Big Little Lies, Wish List, Tinker Bell, Home Again and A Wrinkle in Time.

Reese says in the announcement, "One of the first things that drew me to the brand was its rich heritage and history of supporting women. As one of the first female entrepreneurs, Elizabeth Arden paved the way for women like me. It's an honor to carry on her legacy and be part of such an iconic company that is committed to serving women. I'm excited to work as a creative partner alongside the Elizabeth Arden team, producing content that celebrates the spirit of the brand, highlighting female-centric stories that illustrate women's true life experiences which unite us all."

Reese was previously an Avon ambassador. She will first appear in campaigns for Elizabeth Arden in May.

Reese also says on Facebook, "I’ve always loved storytelling and I’m so excited to work alongside Elizabeth Arden as their #StorytellerInChief. Through this partnership, we will highlight female-centric stories while celebrating the spirit and values of the brand."
