Posted on May 2, 2013
Reese Witherspoon talked to George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America about her and her husband's wild night where her husband was arrested on suspicion of DUI. During the arrest Reese said some obnoxious things to the police officer and was arrested for disorderly conduct. Reese told Stephanopoulos it was bad judgement on her part and said it "will absolutely never happen again."
Stephanopoulos said, "This doesn't sound like the Reese Witherspoon we know."
Reese says she said "crazy things." She even told the cop she was pregnant, which she is not. She said, "I agree. I have no idea what I was saying that night. I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant! I said crazy things."
Reese also said telling her kids was one of the hardest parts of the incident. She says, "You have to say when you make a mistake, you have to take responsibility. And we are taking responsibility and doing everything in our power to make it right. You just have to be honest with them."
