Revolve Robotics Announces Kubi, a Robotic Platform for Tablet Telepresence

Revolve Robotics has introduced Kubi, a robotic platform designed to improve the use of telepresence applications, such as Facetime and Skype. Kubi allows remote users to look around during video calls by controlling the Kubi robotic stand using remote controls. Kubi's movements include pan and tilt functionality. Revolve Robotics is currently taking orders for Kubi with shipment slated for Spring 2013. Kubi is currently priced at $249, but Revolve Robotics is offering early bird pricing of $199 here.
