Rihanna Stars in W Magazine's Post-Apocalyptic September 2016 Cover Shoot

Posted on August 7, 2016

Rihanna is the very last woman on Earth and a warrior queen in W magazine's post-apocalyptic September 2016 cover shoot. W says she is a woman named Tomorrow. The cover shoot was imagined by Edward Enninful, Steven Klein and Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker.

Rihanna wears a Cartier tiara, earrings and necklace on the cover. She's also wearing her own cuff earring and chain necklace. Rihanna's makeup and tattoos were by Pat McGrath Labs. Her hair was by Yusef for Leonor Greyl Hair Care at Factory Downtown.

This is a vision of a crazy future that we hope never becomes a reality. The fires in the background remind us of the Kuwaiti oil fires after Saddam had his forces light them on fire during hte Gulf War in 1991. You can find the photos from the dark and unusual cover shoot here. Some of the designers she wears include Maison Margiela Haute Couture, Prada, Loewe, Fenty Puma by Rihanna, Hood by Air Atelier, E.L.F. Zhou, Proenza Schouler and Dior.
