Ripple Maker Prints Photos and Words in Coffee

A company named Steam CC has developed an interesting device that can print text and images in the foam off your coffee. The Ripple Maker can event print photographs in your latte. It is a stand-alone device that works with a barista app.
The Ripple Maker has an LCD touchscreen display. The user selects an image from the Ripple Maker library or uploads an image such a photograph or business logo. The coffee pritner can print on cups and mugs up to 4.25 inches wide.
Pricing is not listed on the Ripple Maker site but Forbes reports that the device costs $1,000. There is also a monthly coffee subscription charge that starts at $85. The device and service is currently being targeted to coffee shops, restaurants and hotels.
