Robotic Submarine to Search for Missing Malaysia Airlines Plane

Bluefin Robotic's robotic submarine, the Bluefin-21, is being used to help locate the missing Malaysia Airlines plane, flight MH370. The autonomous underwater vehicle can carry multiple sensors. It has a depth rating of 14,763 feet (4,500 meters). Australia has announced plans to deploy the robotic vehicle and map the ocean floor with high-powered sonar. Researchers heard pings last week that may have been from the missing plane, but have not heard any pings this week. The search for the missing flight has been excruciatingly frustrating for family members of passengers on the plane. Everyone on the flight is presumed dead, but it would help with families with closure if the plane could be located. Take a look:
