Royal Baby Born. Duchess of Cambridge and Son Both Doing Well

The royal baby has arrived. The Palace says the Duchess of Cambridge and her son are both doing well. The baby boy weighs 8lbs 6oz and was born at 4:24 pm. The baby was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. The young Prince will be third in line for the throne.
The baby's name has not yet been revealed. His official title will be His Royal Highness. He will be known as the Prince of Cambridge.

The Prince of Wales issued the following statement:

Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone's life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future."
The Queen's Press Secretary and a footman posted the official announcement of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby on an easel in Buckingham Palace forecourt. The British Monarchy shared this photograph on Instagram:
