Sally Field Wears Valentino Gown on 2013 Oscars Red Carpet
Posted on March 1, 2013
Oscar winner Sally Field walked the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards. Sally was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mary Todd Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's film, Lincoln. Sally lost to Anne Hathaway, who won for Les Miserables. Sally looked gorgeous in a red gown by Valentino, which featured delicate gathering at the waist and a full, ruffled train. She accessorized with teardrop diamond earrings and an emerald and diamond cocktail ring by Martin Katz.
Sally is such a good sport. Everyone knows she is tired of talking about her role as Sister Bertrille in the hit 60s tv show, The Flying Nun. But she participated in an opening skit in which host Seth MacFarlane (who is dressed as the Flying Nun while suspended from the ceiling in the Green Room) hits on Sally while she's grabbing a pre-Oscar snack. She even shared a passionate kiss with Seth at the end of the skit.
