Samsung Mobile Launches First Windows 8 Smartphone in U.S.

Samsung ATIV Odyssey


Samsung Mobile announced the launch of its first Windows 8 smartphone at the 2013 CES. Samsung says the Samsung ATIV Odyssey will be available through Verizon Wireless in the coming weeks. Pricing details have not yet been released.

Some of the phone's features include a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display (800x480), 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, front facing 1.2-megapixel camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, 2100 mAh battery and support for up to 64 GB microSD card.
